So what will the iPad 2 have? Right now there's nothing that has been leaked, but there is speculation going on that the iPad 2 will have a camera on the front for FaceTime chat and a camera on the back as well and it will have a thinner design.

The Verizon iPhone phone is real, and it's going to be announced during the Verizon Wireless event taking place on Tuesday, January 11 2011. Coincidentally this happens to be on an awesome date. Google is celebrating New Year's Eve by placing a GMMXIE Google Doodle logo on their main page. You can see it now by going to Google.com. If you click on the logo you will be taken to search results for "New Year's Eve".
You may be wondering what the MMXI in Google's New Years logo means. If you haven't figured it out yet, you can scroll to the end of the post to find out. I put it on the bottom so readers can first try to figure out the meaning on their own.
New Years is coming soon. Just one more day until it's 2011! I can't believe it. Year 2010 passed by so fast.
Answer: MMXI in the Google logo are the roman numerals for 2011. Enjoy your New Year's Eve! :)

The jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPod touch, and iPad was scheduled to be released by Christmas. Unfortunately that did not happen due to someone leaking the SHAtter Jailbreak exploit.
Users can still jailbreak iPhone 4 (4.2.1), jailbreak iPod touch (4.2.1), and jailbreak iPad (4.2.1) by following the instructions in the jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 guide. Unfortunately the jailbreak will be tethered, which means that users will need to jailbreak their hardware each time they reboot it. Users of the iPhone 3G or older iPod touch are fortunate because they get an untethered jailbreak.
The iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak will be out soon, as it's being tested by beta testers right now. Once it's released I'll be sure to make a post on Super Geeky News. Stay tuned!

The Verizon iPhone topic has been up for debate for years now, and hints about it coming in 2011 have been really strong. Recently Skype posted a document on their website which detailed the video calling feature that iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users will get later in 2011.
The document was removed after it started getting a lot of coverage on the web. Fortunately a copy of it was saved, and you can see it over here.
The Verizon logo on Skype's website suggested that there is a Verizon iPhone. Unfortunately the only thing we can do is just wait until WWDC 2011, which is in June and see what Apple has in store for us.
