Verizon iPhone CDMA Phone Announcement On Tuesday

Verizon iPhone
The Verizon iPhone phone is real, and it's going to be announced during the Verizon Wireless event taking place on Tuesday, January 11 2011. Coincidentally this happens to be on an awesome date. For you geeks, it is 1/11/11. The phone is an iPhone 4 hardware and it will be running iPhone iOS 4.2 software.

After years of rumors and speculation, Verizon will finally announce the Verizon iPhone on their wireless network. The event is only for those who were invited, and it'll take place in New York. I'll make a post with full coverage, so stay tuned for more news.

The Verizon iPhone won't have 4G or LTE, because it's CDMA according to sites like Wall Street Journal. If you plan on unlocking it, know that you can't because it has no SIM slot. Excited about the Verizon iPhone? Let us know in the comments!

I'm as excited as anyone to know that imfamous iphone will finally be released from the tight grip of at&t... However I'm wondering if there is any way possible that the verizon iphone will be competible with the sprint network as well as it is a cdma configured phone... Verizon is wonderful, but you just can't beat sprint's plan pricings...

I wish iPhone 4 on Verizon would be the new 4G LTE. But, I love apple and their design and software and touch interface. So, I probably will overlook the new HTC LTE phone coming out and purchase iphone 4 verizon.
